• - Fern has consistently maintained an EMD performance rating of 95% in the EMD Quality Assurace Program since its inception in 2005. This is just one indicator of Fern's high level of confidence and skill in doing her job.
• - Fern's work ethic is exemplary, she is willing to come in early to cover minimum staffing and has never complained about helping out in times of staffing shortages.   
• -Fern is an excellent resource to both her co-workers and her supervisors due to her experience and good judgement.
• - There are many instances in Fern's career where her excellence has stood out.
• One notable example was in 2006. Fern was commended for her role as a dispatcher during a homicide in Fargo. Fern's outstanding job of gettting the critical information to the officers led to the apprehension of the suspect.
